How to Use Ou's Song Book and Healing Music

Sound of Singing is Energy

In December 2008, the experiment on “Ou WenWei Music Therapy” formally started in Guangdong province in China. Many Pangu Shengong students participate in this significant event. Under Master Ou WenWei’s guidance, participants have achieved heartening result.

They generally feel that listening to Master Ou’s songs and learning to sing can heal their diseases and make them feel pleasant as well.

Master Ou’s singing had very strong perpetrating power which can get right into a person’s heart.  Even for people who have never heard about Qigong or had Qigong therapy, as long as they would like to listen to his songs, they will experience the calm and serene sentiment carried by the singing; and thereafter they feel the peace in their mind.

In Guangzhou, there was a school for mental-deficiency children, where Master Ou’s songs were played for them.  Once the mental deficient agitated children listened to the songs, they were able to quiet down quickly.

There were countless examples which Pan Gu Shengong students recovered from their illnesses by listening and singing Master Ou’s songs.  We would like to share a few of them below so that you may get a sense of how to apply Ou’s songs for healing.

  • Ms. Ling was on a bus one day. Suddenly felt her stomach had a gnawing pain.  Thus she gently sang “What is Affection” and “Walking into Springtime”.  Gradually the pain reduced.  When she got off the bus, she felt as if nothing had happened before.  Her experience proved a principle summarized by some participants of Ou’s music therapy: If one tried their best to imitate Ou’s real sentiment to sing, then they would achieve greater effect in relieving pain. Ms. Ling also said that listening to Ou’s song helped stopping her car sick.  In addition, she used Ou’s music to help others. For example, she played the CD, “Ou Wen Wei’s Healing Music Special Edition”, for her grandson, who had suffered from a fever for two days.  By the time the music CD finished playing, her grandson said, “I feel so much better and my headache is less.”  In the next morning, her grandson woke up with everything going back to normal.  In the past, her grandchild had to have injections and take medicine for at least one week in order to recover from such a fever.

  • Mr. Zhu reported that singing Master Ou’s songs helped him recover from rhinitis which he had for more than 40 years. He exclaimed that Ou’s songs were better than any rhinitis medicines.  His stubborn rhinitis was completely gone now and medicines were no longer needed.

  • Ms. Zhou is in her seventies. Since she started listen to Ou’s songs one year ago, she no longer suffered from high blood pressure, heart disease, bad-quality sleep and cervical vertebra disease.  Now she doesn’t need to have injection and take medicines any more, and she looked energetic and strong.

  • Mr. Cheng had nasopharyngeal (nose and throat cancer).  After doing the chemical therapy, he suffered from some side effects: he had dry throat pain and lots of sputum, and he felt chill easily.  After attending Ou Wen Wei’s Music Therapy and listening to his songs for a few months, Cheng’s appetites became normal and his complexion looked healthy.  In addition, he lose temper less frequently.

  • Ms. Lu, an old lady, had fracture with her hands for two years.  Two major hospitals claimed that her condition couldn’t be treated.  After attending the music therapy for three months, her hands recovered from the pain and could lift an object weighted 1kg to 1.5kg.

  • Ms. Zhou had uterus cancer.  After the chemotherapy, her vagina was bleeding badly.  Three Pan Gu Shengong students give her a qi-healing by singing Ou’s songs to her.  In the afternoon of the same day, she bled much less and in the next day afternoon it completely stopped.

  • Ms. Pang was extremely upset because of her family fuss, and she became haggard.  She then seek help from Ou’s songs. She listened to “What is Affection” and “What is love”. After ten minutes, her both hands became cold and numb.  Her whole body shivered and she breathed heavily and rapidly.  She continued puffing hard.  This condition lasted for ten odd minutes.  After that she breathed easier.  Then she continued to sing “Pan Gu Song”, “Big Family”, “Dreamland Waltz” and other songs which had huge impact on her heart and soul.  Her numb hands and her frozen heart became warm, and she was in hot tears.  Then her breathing became normal and she felt pleasant.

Now many Pan Gu Shengong students are very willing to devote themselves into Ou Wen Wei’s music world, and in this process they gain lots of peace in their heart and soul and achieve good health.  Thereafter, they would like to share their experience with others.

“A sound wave is energy.  It is also an intelligible message.  Sound waves based on kindness and benevolence naturally include the energy of kindness and benevolence and messages of kindness and benevolence.  Transmitting an intelligible message of kindness and benevolence to other people definitely bestows positive benefits on their bodies and their hearts.”  (Cited from Journey of Heart and Soul (part III) “A Brief Discussion and Recommendation Concerning Music and Nature)

The Way to Listen to the Songs

If you want to get the best benefit from listening to Ou’s songs, you should choose the best mindset to listen.

What is the best mindset? It is calm and joyful. Being calm and joyful makes you establish a better rapport with the songs, helping you to be able to use the innocent and pure part of your heart and body to receive the message and power of love from universe.

Once you have such peaceful and pleasant mindset, find a tranquil place to listen to the songs, then you will have a total different experience than listening to them casually. Your heart and soul will truly enter the level of the state where Ou sings these songs; as a result, you will deepen greatly your understanding on the meaning and sentiment of his songs.

It will help you to enjoy the songs better and gain more benefits from the songs by knowing the meaning of the lyrics. Therefore, you are encouraged to read the lyrics of the songs before you listen to the songs again. For example, the song “What is Love”, by understanding the lyric, it helps us embrace the true love more cognitively, as a result, our body and mind and soul receive a more holistic adjustment while listening to the song.

The second step of using Ou’s songs to heal is to sing his songs. Firstly, you may just following Ou’s singing to sing silently in your heart. While you are doing it, once a while, please also pay attention to the difference between your singing and Ou’s singing. Later on, you may hum the song while listening to Ou’s singing. Pay attention to the difference between your singing and Ou’s singing. Try to imitate the way that he sings. And then you may sing the songs yourself, with calm and joyful sentiment.

You may try the method above tonight! If you haven’t had a CD of Ou’s, you may click here to pick one of the songs to try on. Of course the result would be better if you listen to a few songs in a row.

For those who already took the nonmoving-form-level-two would know that Ou’s songs have another great function. They are powerful meditation music, and will guide you to explore the spiritual states. For the detail about how to use his music for this purpose, please sign up for the nonmoving-form-level-two class.

In addition, you may use Ou’s songs to help others.

For example, as a mother of a special needs child, how do you use Ou’s song to help your child? You may listen to Ou’s songs with him. You may hold your child, and even slightly massage him. You need to be calm and peaceful and focus to listen to the songs. During the process, you may also wish your child receive more healing energy and make faster progress. While you are having such thoughts, you need to be kinder, more peaceful, and more joyful. As a result, no matter where you touch your child, either his head, or his back, or his hands, the healing power of your love will be transmitted into his body.

Same principle applies to helping other patients. For example, you happen to visit a patient in his serious condition in a hospital. He never hears about qigong and you assume that he might not be open-minded enough to try qigong treatment, but you still want to help him. Then what do you do? You may use Ou’s healing music to help him, with the patient’s permission of course. You may play Ou’s music in the patient’s ward and ask him to be relaxed to listen to the music. If it’s OK, you may slightly touch his forehead or hold his hand while wearing sweet smile on your face.

Healing Song of the Month: "Spring has come"

Spring has come

by Ou WenWei

Spring has come,
Creeping through the blockade of ice and snow,
Still a little haggard,
Remaining a little frigid.

Spring has come,
Creeping gently with small steps,
Yet bringing hope for new life,
Bringing all things back to life.

Spring has come,
No matter whether it is cloudy and drizzly for days,
Or whether it is sunny;
Near and far there is thrilling laughter---alive.
