Dear Master Ou and Pan Gu Shengong (PGSG) students:

Thank you so much for your time and for granting me the opportunity to share my practical experiences with and understanding of PGSG with you.

My name is Wang Ji An and I am 51-years old from Zhongshan City, China. I was diagnosed with a third stage nasopharyngeal carcinoma in 2003. I received radiation therapy at the oncology department in the Zhongshan University’s Hospital in Guangzhou City for over two months. After I returned home from the hospital, I received chemotherapy twice from Zhongshan Ren Min Hospital.  Six months later, a check up showed the disease  had spread to my lung, and only chemotherapy would be appropriate for any further treatment instead of radiation therapy.  I visited Zhongshan Ren Min Hospital again for full term chemotherapy for six sessions from September 2004 to January 2005.  During this period, my physical condition was very poor.  I felt no energy, and also frequently vomited and had dizziness.  After the treatment, I was shocked to find out that the check-up showed my condition had not improved, and this result hurt me mentally.  I recalled I was very cooperative and brave when I was staying in the hospitals for all kinds of treatments, including chemotherapy, many traditional therapies, medication and so on for the past two years. As a result, my condition showed no improvement; furthermore, in the past two months, the check-ups showed the cancer was continuing to spread out of control. Why? I was confused and in a state of utter stupefaction with a lot of pressures.  Facing this situation, I still had hope in my heart for I surely believed that modern medical science and medical treatment could help me recover from the disease.  In April 2005, I received a chemotherapy-combination of Eastern and Western Medicines, in the Zhongshan Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital.  I expected my condition would be better after that therapy. Unfortunately, during the treatment, my body had very bad reactions with the treatment and all my physiological functions were not good.  After less than three days, my hair was beginning to fall out, and the primary doctor said that he rarely sees it happen; moreover, several days later, all the hairs fell out except a few eyelashes remained.  My physical condition had never been so poor in my life.  The main reason that I had to stop my treatment was that my white blood cell count had fallen down to 800 (a normal person’s white blood cell count is 4,000-10,000). According to current medical science perspective, further treatment is impossible due to low in white blood cell count, and my condition was very serious.  The treatment at that time was supposed to take eight days to finish. As a result of my poor condition, it extended to 21 days with the assistance of medications.  After this treatment, I understood that my condition would not get any better if I continued with this kind of treatment method because my body couldn’t bear it anymore even though I knew the medication could help.  At this critical time, there were some PGSG students who came to the hospital to pass the information about PGSG to me.  I seemed to have a glimmer of hope that  my life could be saved. I learned PGSG on the fourth day after I was discharged from the hospital with the smallest hope in my mind.  I dedicated myself to practice PGSG, read Master Ou’s writings, and exchange experiences with PGSG students.  As a result, my physical condition improved  day by day; furthermore, my heart and soul  greatly improved.  I no longer need to stay at any hospital to receive treatment and take any medication; therefore, both my body and soul gained a lot of benefits from PGSG.

My first experience from PGSG was that I really felt the qi sensation in the center of my palms when I was practicing the PGSG. I was very happy and sensed there was hope for me from PGSG.  I have some qigong knowledge and principles because I had learned different types of qigong techniques before this time.  Comparing PGSG with other qigong techniques available, PGSG is much easier to learn, contains simpler movements but with much stronger qi sensation. From this understanding  of PGSG, I had stronger confidence, and I firmly believed that I could surely cure my illness completely with my own effort.  I made up my mind I must dedicate myself to practice and study PGSG even though I would encounter a lot of shortcomings and sufferings.  I recalled on the 9th day after I learned the PGSG, I attempted to increase one extra hour of practice session to eight hours. It was only after I competed the eight hours practice session that I discovered my feet were in pain.  The next day, when I got up, my feet were too painful to bear any touch and I had trouble walking.  In this situation, I recalled words from Master Ou’s lectures. He said that different types of pain sensations might be arising during the practice session. These are normal phenomena and the pains would gradually disappear if a practitioner keeps practicing the PGSG and is willing to endure the pains.  In order to improve my confidence, my wife called some of the PGSG students to ask about this phenomenon. As a result, all of them encouraged me. They said that this was a good phenomenon. When one felt the pain, there was blockage in the body.  I boldly tried to position myself standing up during the session of practicing PGSG and without taking any medication.  After one hour of practice, I felt the pain disappeared; furthermore, I could go out walking on the streets like a normal person. The above result had confirmed PGSG’s benefit and it also encouraged me to further study PGSG.  I dedicated myself to practice  PGSG with more effort. I reached the level of practicing the PGSG at any time as long as I had the time, and I didn’t care how many times I had practiced.  I saw the practicing of PGSG as my job. The other day, there were some students who organized a  practice session of PGSG that lasted for nine hours. At that time, I had been discharged from the hospital for less than one month. Although I had some doubts I was able to participate in the entire practice session for nine hours without sitting down.  Not only me, but all the students who participated in this activity were amazed. My physical condition was very poor after I received treatments in the hospitals, and I learned the PGSG only two weeks ago, but I could position myself standing up for nine hours practicing the PGSG with ease. PGSG is really a mystical Qigong. I recalled my experiences on the practicing of PGSG in the past two weeks. All the benefits depended on the power of PGSG.  If I truly believed and practiced the PGSG with a happy mindset during the practicing session, the energy would naturally enter my body. I saw the beautiful scenery that was appearing continuously one scene after another in my mind which I had never seen before. I didn’t feel tired, instead, I was in a good mood after the practicing session.  Later, I organized several practicing sessions that lasted nine hours, and I received very good results each time.  My complications from chemotherapy disappeared one by one.  For example, I had nasal congestion, ringing in my ears, too much phlegm, trouble getting to sleep after midnight and feeling thirsty. As a result of practicing PGSG, all these symptoms disappeared.  Another amazing thing that happened to me was that my hair changed from grey to black color ---- it was so mysterious. There were many people who witnessed these changes in my body. Having the above experiences and results, I kept practicing PGSG with more effort.  Whenever I encountered problems, I would look for answers from Master Ou’s lectures. My condition improved day by day.  Practicing PGSG was not only beneficial to my body, it reformed my heart and soul as well. For example, I used to easily lose my temper for minor problems before learning PGSG. From practicing and studying PGSG, the frequency of me losing my temper was much less, and I understood that a person who loses his/her temper more easily gets sick. In order to completely cure my disease, I understood it depends on me correctly adjusting my own bad habits.  I valued this point without any doubt, and gradually understand how to respect, care and show understanding for others.  The other day, my neighbor, who comes from another part of this country, living in the house opposite from me, left a bag of garbage at the gate of my house simply because it was more convenient for him. If this had happened before I learned PGSG, I would have yelled at him a lot, but I didn’t. Instead, I explained to him the principle about the importance of public hygiene with a peace and a calm mindset while I showed him my concern and understanding. As I was about to pick up the garbage to put it in the garbage dumpster, he rushed to take it back and put it into the garbage dumpster himself; furthermore, he repeatedly apologized for his action.  From this time on, we have been courteous to each other whenever we meet and express concern for each other whenever we start any conversation. From this example, I think the above harmonious phenomenon would have been impossible if I had not learned PGSG.

With the help, concern and support from PGSG students, I have a lot of opportunity to share my experience with PGSG students, especially those PGSG students whose health conditions were relatively serious.  I felt the love and patience from the senior students and PGSG teachers, and their actions moved me. Therefore, I wanted to dedicate myself to this meaningful cause. I improved my understanding of PGSG by sharing my experiences with others. For example, I went to a rehabilitation hospital in Zhuhai City to visit some PGSG students who were very sick. Knowing they didn’t understand and had some questions about PGSG. During our introduction, I shared my experience with them.  There were many patients at the hospital who had heard our introduction and expressed their wish to learn PGSG.  Many patients learned the PGSG immediately. After these new PGSG students returned home from the hospital, they frequently shared their experiences about PGSG with me by phone. From the above experience, I felt we belong to a big PGSG family. PGSG gives not only my health back but also helps others to gain health and happiness. I am glad. I sincerely appreciate Master Ou who created PGSG to benefit human beings, and also help everyone in the world possess a healthy, happy heart and soul. Besides, I appreciated all the senior PGSG students for their supports and assistance. I truly believe that our body and soul can surely be healthier if we dedicate ourselves to the study and practice of PGSG. I wish that everyone becomes healthier and happier with more satisfaction and good fortune.

 Sincerely yours,

 Wang Ji An
